This year has already been a trying year for anyone in the scrap market whether its scrap metals, plastics, paper, electronics, etc.  It seems some pricing has held steady and may continue to do so whereas other pricing seems to drop each day.  Just recently chinese steel companies initiated price cuts starting in April 2009.  Right now the steel industry and steel scrap seems to not be close to any type of recovery.

What are your thoughts?  Where do you think prices of scrap metals or others (paper, plastic, etc.) will go to.  What is your prediction for 2010?
